Nicky McLachlan - Senior SENDCO (Primary)
Nicky leads on Inclusion in the Primary section, supporting pupils with additional needs in particular. She was one of the founding teachers and prior to joining Reach spent eleven years working at a large Primary School in Wandsworth, where she gained a wealth of experience teaching from Nursery to Year 6. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and a Leading Mathematics teacher, Nicky supported colleagues within her own school and carried out consultancy work in other schools in central London. Nicky graduated from Nottingham University with a First Class Honours degree in Geography. After taking on her SENDCo role at Reach she studied part-time at Roehampton University in 2015-16 and gained a distinction for the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators. She would like to thank all the Reach parents who supported her with her research focusing on family engagement. Nicky lives locally with her husband and two children and enjoys running in her free time.
Laura Clarke - SENDCO (Secondary)
Laura is the Phase 4 SENDCo over seeing the provision of pupils with additional needs in yrs 9-11. Laura has been teaching since 2001 and has worked in several boroughs; Harrow, Milton Keynes, Richmond and Hounslow Borough. Laura became a SENDCO while working in a Primary School in Teddington in 2010. Laura completed her National Award for Special Educational Needs at Roehampton University and then went on to become a Specialist Teacher for Dyslexia at the Institute of Education in 2012.
Laura joined Reach in 2016 and work here part time.LauraI lives locally in Feltham with her husband and two children and enjoys walking and anything creative in her spare time.
